Q.Stephanotis Seed Pod
I have a stephanotis pod that I would like to attempt to germinate. However I have read the pod must be yellow and split. My pod fell (or perhaps was pulled by a passer by) while it is still green. Will it be ok and shall I leave it by itself? Or does it need the nutrition from the mother plant, or would you suggest opening it now?

Unfortunately, they will not ripen once they come off. Some seeds will continue to ripen, like tomatoes and peppers, but this one will not. You'll have to use a ripe one. These can take several months to ripen. This article will offer information on care:
