Is it to late to mulch ? And if so what can I do to feed my tree which I have in a big pot ? From jenny

Mulching the Cherry Tree with a good quality compost should take place in February, but go ahead and do it now if you missed this time period.

I would fertilize with a balanced fertilizer 12-12-12 will give your tree the nitrogen and potassium it needs--I would use a slow release formula.
