Q.Steer Manure

Anonymous added on April 10, 2014 | Answered

I have a gardening area with very poor soil. I asked one of my gardener friends how to fix it. He suggested steer manure, the more the marrier. I bought packaged steer manure blend. Another friend said too much would burn my vegatable and flower plants. Which friend is right?

Both actually, which is why composting is recommended. This article will help you with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/composting/manures/steer-manure.htm
