Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI am planning to create a veggie patch in my backyard. However, Land seems to be very hard and very difficult to dig also have grass and weeds growing on it. Also, 4 weeks back had sprayed weeb and feed spray over it. Now I am confused what to do.
So, How should I start the veggie patch? Should Dig out the soil and mix compost and manure.
If so how much should I mix per square feet

You will want to till this place up. This will break up the soil. I would recommend adding the manure about 6 inches on top before tilling in. This will help break up the soil as well. It could be another few weeks before anything will come up due to the spray, but it won’t take too long to be out of the soil.
