Starting Canna Lilies Too Early

I live in New Brunswick Canada and I have been experimenting with lily seeds and rhyzones. I started some of them in November and they are growing very well, too well. If I cut the leaves off on the plants will they still get more leaves and a flower? Ann

I would not cut off any more than 1/3 of the total leaves. This goes for most plants. You will want to supplement with a grow light. You will want to store them properly in the winter, as well. This article will offer more information on their care:
