Squash Rotting

Too much water, not enough? My squash plants are growing beautifully with a lot of veggies. But some keep turning brown on the end and shriveling up. I’ve tried lots of water and I’ve tried holding off until the plant shows wilt. Either way, it keeps happening. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
