I planted my squash next to my cabbage. My squash is not doing good. Is it because it’s next to the cabbage?

I wouldn't think that your squash is suffering because of being next to your cabbage. There are a limited number of reasons your squash may not be happy. This article provides a short list of problems along with how to correct them:
