Square Foot Gardening

Do you recommend square foot gardening over a standard type garden? I see in your articles on gardening with open spaces but was wondering about small confined spaces.

Square foot gardening is ideal if you only have a small space for gardening and want to grow several varieties. If you have the space, go with the larger beds where you can provide ample room for the plants to grow. Plants that are close together will be more prone to fungal diseases.
