Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHave zucchini and yellow crookneck squash. They will set fruit but the blooms on the ends of the fruit are dying and falling off before the fruit gets very large and matures. Water regularly, have used NO chemicals, fertilize with worm castings and composted alpaca poop. Temps have been about 10 degrees or so above normal (upper 80’s to low 90’s) but plants are shaded by trees starting about mid afternoon, usually 2:30 to 3:00pm. Get full son until that time. Have seen no squash bugs or other pests – mulched with eucalyptus. Hope you have some suggestions. Was too hot last summer and got very little squash.

Depending on how large the fruit get, it is either blossom end rot or poor pollination.
