Q.Sprouts At The Bass(root) Of Asiatic Lily Plant

There are green stalks(like a blade of grass) growing from the root of my asiatic lily plant. Are these new plant stalks? See attached photo.

They might be! Check to see if they have their own stem tip. You might brush away some of the soil to see if it has its own crown, too. The other possibility is that they are just adventitious leaves growing at the base. They would be directly attached to the stem of the original plant it that were the case, though.
