I’m wondering when is the best time to spray cherry trees so cherries don’t have worms.

Dormant oil can be sprayed during tree dormancy. Neem oil can also be used during the active growing season, but you will want to take care not to spray in full sun. It will be best to wait until it is cloudy, or during the early morning to spray.
