Splitting Begonia Bulbs

I have planted five giant bloomed begonia bulbs for the past three seasons and understand they can be divided either in the fall or spring to increase their number. How is this done?

Divide begonias while dormant or when the shoots are still small. Simply dig up the plant clumps and gently pull the corms apart either by hand or you can use a knife or spade shovel. Then replant elsewhere. Here is more information on how to divide plants: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/propagation/propgen/dividing-plants.htm [1]
