Q.Splitting a large jade plant in two

Maxwelljames added on January 19, 2017 | Answered

I have a large jade plant that came with my house when I bought it. I am assuming that both the trunks are connected under the soil. How can I split the plant in two without killing the jade so I have 2 large jade plants? I attached a photo of the plant.

This is a large plant and division of the plants would not be recommended or likely successful.
Large overgrown Jades are best dealt with by propagating new plants from cuttings.
