Spindly Coriander Potted

I am a Housesitter in the Canberra, ACT, Australia area. One plant on the balcony is a coriander, which looks like it is on its last legs. If I cut this back, would it replenish? I can give it lots of care, just wondering what organic treatment it might receive to help itself grow again.

Pruning will help a little but not much. The plant has likely bolted. Heavy mulching and planting keeping it in the shade will help keep the soil cooler.

This is just a little potted plant, which sadly looked faded and spindlely.
I gave it a good soak in water for an hour, then put in out on the shaded balcony. (breathed on it a bit to give it some healing CO2. And will try to see if it has any life left in it. (couldn’t hurt)
