Q.spider webs on bottom of peppers

Anonymous added on June 11, 2015 | Answered

I have beautiful pepper plants and peppers but they seem to get a small web, not unlike a spider web, on the bottom and begin to rot. Please, someone help me solve this problem. They really were beautiful before this happened. Thanks.

This is spider mites. This article will help:

Neem oil is also effective on many pests and safe to use on your plants. As a bonus, it is also a great fungicide. Here is more info: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/problems/pests/neem-oil-uses.htm

The rotting on the bottom is actually blossom end rot. This article will help with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/pepper/pepper-blossom-end-rot.htm
