Q.Spider plants by seaside

Zone Pacific Grove, California | maryaline@comcast.net added on October 12, 2016 | Answered

Found your article on spider plants outside very interesting and helpful…but will they grow by the seaside, perhaps in sheltered area? I live near ocean edge in California, south end of Monterey Bay—sometimes very rough seas and very windy!

As long as the sea spray does not hit the Spider Plant, I think they may do just fine for you.

Smaller plants may struggle, but these plants grow quickly and really are quite sturdy.
