Spider Plants

A few months ago, I repotted my spider plant (which had become four different plants in the one pot). One set of plants is doing well but browning a little bit. The other set of plants looks like it’s dying. I’ve tried changing the watering times and schedules for the sickly one. I’ve let it dry out and I’ve brought it outside. It’s still alive but still brown and limp. I don’t have a photo right now but I can provide some.

It sounds like this is not a watering issue. One possibility is stress from over-fertilization or excessive fluoride in the water, which spider plants are susceptible to:
