Spider Plant

I have a fairly large spider plant and I just recently noticed that it is giving off a sticky residue that has covered my table and carpet etc. Why is it doing this and what can I do to remove the sticky substance from my furniture etc.

Your plant most likely has Honeydew. This sticky residue is from pests.
You can treat the plant with Neem Oil.
