Q.Spent Gardenia blooms

Anonymous added on June 8, 2015 | Answered

My Gardenia is blooming beautifully this year but I don’t know what to do about the flowers after they turn yellow. Cut them off or let them fall off on their own?

You can deadhead the flowers, but they do not need it. If you want to do so, simply pinch the blooms once they have died back at the base of the bloom, taking care not to disturb any new buds that may be forming.
