Spanish moss removal…Potassium

We have heavy growth of Spanish moss on about 5 live oak trees. I read your information about spraying the trees with potassium. What kind of potassium should I buy and where do I purchase it? Also, what is the ratio of water to potassium?

This will be in the form of potassium bicarbonate. You will want to add 1/4 cup per gallon of water.
