Sour Strawberries

Question

I purchased some everbearing strawberry plants from Stark Bros Nursery. They are Eversweet, which is the sweetest berry according to them. The berries ARE NOT SWEET. I planted them last year in a huge pot using potting mix (Miracle Grow) and this year I planted more in a hanging Topsy Turvy Strawberry planter. Neither way of planting these berry plants have produced sweet berries. What can I do to the soil to make the berries sweet before they bear again?
