Q.Something Is Gnawing At The Edges Of The Petals On My Clematis Blooms. What Can I Do?

I would like to know if I should spray my blooms and if so, with what. The leaves are fine. It is just a few of the blooms that are affected.

Unfortunately your photo did not come through. If you suspect that this is mammal damage, and not insect (Which is what it seems) then spraying with cayenne pepper mix can help!
