Q.Something Is Eating My Basil And Peppers. I Can’t See Anything And Nothing I Have Tried Stops The Distruction.

Zone 92071 | trailshoes added on May 19, 2020 | Answered

I live in Santee California. I garden mostly in pots. I have thoroughly sprayed with neem and spread the dirt with Diatomaceous Earth…even covered one basil with an insect screen tent (that one got it worst after that) but the plants are still being eaten. I see no sign of insects. What could it be and how do I stop it? I couldn’t seem to upload any photos.

If you have tried everything, and even have a physical barrier, then I would suggest that it could be a fungal or bacterial infection. This can appear as incest damage on occasion.
