Q.Somehow My Calla Lily Bulbs Were Unearthed And Are Sitting On Top Of The Soil. They Are Starting To Grow. Can I Replant Them?

Zone Buford GA 30519 | Anonymous added on January 21, 2022 | Answered

I planted a potted calla lily about 3-4 years ago and they keep spreading. I don’t do anything. Can I just stick the bulbs back in the ground?

An animal may have unearthed them for you or soil heaving from freezing and thawing. I would replant them as soon as possible. Plant them about 4 inches deep, if you can with the new growth. If not, plant them as deep as possible without covering the new growth.
