Some Snails Got Buried In A Pot Of Dirt. Will They Die? Is It Safe To Use The Dirt Again?

I have no more info they’re buried, are they dead or not?

They may have been able to make their way out. Some snails bury themselves for the winter so it is not impossible. It would be fine to use the soil even if they didn't survive. Here is more about snails:
