Q.Some branches of our fig tree had root rot

We pulled the rotted branches out and left the good ones in the ground. Are the ones left in the ground still good and can we expect them to produce?

Only time will tell if your still standing fig trees will survive, especially since they were likely exposed to the same conditions that contributed to the root rot in the others. The best advice I can offer you at this time is to be vigilant of your trees and to ensure that the conditions that contributed to the root rot are not recreated.
