Soil and Full Sun

I have a full sun front of the house spot. Everything I plant there does not grow. It dies. I tried adding Miracle grow, watering, etc. Nothing happens. What can I do? There is a shrub there that seems to stay alive. How do I fix this problem?

That part of your yard may have trouble retaining water due to the high heat because of the full sun. You should look at xeriscaping, which needs less water and can take high temps. Here is more information on this style of gardening: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/xeriscape [1]
