Soaking seeds before planting…morning glory in this case

Soaking Morning Glory Seeds…Some floated to the top of the water, some didn’t. Does it matter? Are all worth planting? Thanks in advance…Vivian

It’s usually believed if they float they are dead and if they sink they are still viable. Of course it won’t actually hurt anything if you plant them all.
