Q.pruned my hydrangeas too much

Zone 6 | hydrangeas added on June 22, 2015 | Answered

So I pruned my hydrangeas too much. Now what? Are they worthless? Do I pull them out? Two years ago I pruned the hydrangeas back as my friend did. They have never bloomed since.

Is the plant leafed out? If so is it just that the plants are not blooming?
It may not be simply due to over pruning.

I'm listing a few links for you.
Check watering, soil condition. To much Nitrogen in the soil could cause green leaves and no flowers. Have you fertilized?
