Q.“snow on the mountain” ageopodium podograria

Zone 67218 | barb.smith@wichita.edu added on October 13, 2016 | Answered

I have a variant of the above plant that is all green leaves. How do you kill it? Several “experts” recommended spraying with an herbicide with high % (greater than 2%) of triclopyr. I used something with 8% and it’s still there! It has taken over my entire planting bed.
Thank you

Herbicides are most effective on new plants in the spring. You can also mow down the plants and when the new growth appears apply the herbicide according to the label directions.
