Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a snow fountain flowering cherry that has been planted for three years. The bottom half of the tree has new leaves and the top half seem to be dying. the top started growing small leaves and then looked as if it started drying up on the top half only. The stems are not so dry they break, just wondering if you have any ideas or suggestions?

It looks like a severe blight, and the original rootstock is taking back over. Likely a wild cherry type.
Unfortunately, this tree is done. I would recommend replanting with something that is not related. Stay away from cherries to avoid the same thing happening again.
