Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI was about to throw a Christmas cactus out when I saw a little snail on the top of the soil. It has made a few blooms but otherwise is straggly. I liven WI. We don’t have snails. Where did this come from and what is it doing? and is it responsible for the poor growth? Thanks!

It could be partially responsible for the poor growth. I would say an egg was left in the soil, and hatched and grew there. Interesting how species that don’t belong get so far away from where they came from.
