Small White Objects Falling Off Gum Tree

hugh101 added on October 20, 2015 | Answered

Living in Sydney, our lemon scented gum (Eucalyptus citriodora) has recently started to drop very small white objects (like a cocoon of a very small insect). It's too tall to see what's happening up there. Do you know what is causing this?

I believe this to be from the Gum Tree Scale.

Here is a link with more information and treatment.
