Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have 8′ of garden space between my patio and fence. My neighbors have a raised deck so they easily see over the fence. I’d like to plant a tree that will obscure their view. I need foliage above the fence (6′), ideally up to about 9′. I’m not trying to create a solid barrier. The fence is 14′ from the house; 6′ walkway + 8′ garden bed. What tree would you recommend?

It is difficult to make a recommendation without knowing your growing zone.
I would recommend you visit your local garden centers and nurseries for some inspiration.
Often times they have display gardens.
You can also contact your local County Extension Office for a list of trees that are specific and are known to be successful in your growing zone.
Here are some links with more information and a link to help you locate your nearest extension office.
