Small fuzzy caterpillars on my canna

The fuzzy caterpillars are about one quarter inch in length. They are cream in color and are eating the life out of the leaves. How do I get rid of them?

You can eradicate caterpillars with Bt, a biological control spray and not a poison. The caterpillar has to ingest the material when feeding on the leaf. The timing is critical as is good coverage. A repeat spray is often needed.
For a quicker knockdown use insecticidal soap, which you can purchase or make your own.
