small amounts of clear gelatin leaking out of zucchini

My zucchini harvest has been great until recently. Lots of rain and heat. All the new fruit is covered with small drops of what looks like clear gel. The plants and blossoms look healthy.

There is a compound in squash that protect the fruit from predators. It is noticeable from the stem when cut from the plant. It helps in healing the stem when cut and cures.
With heavy rain it is likely aspiration of excess fluid that is being forced out the pores of the fruit.

This gel substance can be a skin irritant.

The fruit should be just fine as it cures.
