Slugs

Question

I’m having a major slug problem in my garden .last summer they nearly destroyed my morning glories and other flowering plants.I tried to control it by leaving beer filled low containers..which they were drawn to. However it’s not only disgusting but annoying to have dump and refill the container daily.What can I do to to prepare my garden this spring before blooms start so I don’t have the same problem this summer

There are non-toxic slug baits. Sluggo and Sluggo Plus. There may be other brand names or generic versions.
