Q.Slug Pellets And Veg?

Zone DG2 8DA | Clarice added on May 22, 2020 | Answered

My garden is plagued by slugs and snails. I try to avoid chemicals but resorted to slug pellets on some beds, mainly salad crops. Are these safe to eat if I have used slug pellets?

I wouldn't eat them.

Another thing to note- This bait attracts them to the area, as well as kills them, and other beneficial mollusks in the garden. These products should be placed away from your garden so that they don't attract more to the area, and contaminate the soil.
