Q.Slatey Ground

Anonymous added on March 9, 2012 | Answered

We live in an area in France near an old slate mine and in some places have slate just below ground level, less than an inch of soil. Are there any plants which will grow as ground cover in these conditions?

Thyme would be a good ground cover to plant in these conditions.
