Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI planted a healthy 4 ft. high Silver Princess eucalyptus tree a month ago; however, now the leaves from the ground up are turning brown and falling off, gradually making its way up the tree. I can’t see any pests; however, someone has suggested putting lime in the soil.

It is possible that there are air pockets in the soil that are affecting the roots. I would step firmly on the root balls to help collapse any air pockets. Flood the area with water to help fill them in. Up its watering as well. It may also have a fungus disease, so I would treat the plant with a fungicide.
