Silver Medjool Palm Tree

Living by San Antonio, Texas, how do I provide year round care for my established Silver Medjool Palm? Do I need to prune the branches that have turned gray? The new green frond branches growing out of the top are beautiful and healthy. I’ve read that the best time to fertilize is Fall and not to water it excessively.
