Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWhat type of shrubbery would you recommend to border a graveyard? We are replacing the old ones that have died out over 40 years or more and need something that will be about 3-4 feet when full grown. In addition, they need to be tough enough to survive hot summers and cold winters. We would like them to spread out in fullness but not necessarily hide the graveyard.

This article is about shrubs for the street strip on sidewalks, but the shrubs that are listed there will do well for your needs as well, as they are hardy but still look pretty: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/shgen/shrubs-to-plant-between-the-sidewalk-and-street.htm [1]
