Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comLast fall, I trimmed wildly overgrown shrub roses. They bloomed beautifully in June, but beginning in July, they started to thin out and now they are just brown sticks about halfway up the plant. I can’t understand what happened so quickly. And these are not newly planted; they’re at least 20 years old and have flowered every year faithfully. I’m afraid I may have damaged them when I pruned them last fall. Can you help?
