water on zucchini leaves

Should you get zucchini leaves wet when watering? When my wife waters our vegetables, she always gets the leaves wet. Doesn’t it mold?

Use a soaker hose or other method to water zucchini plants below their leaves. Watering overhead manually or with a sprinkler can cause the zucchini plants to develop powdery mildew.
