Q.Should You Add Plant Food To A Newly Transplanted Bush?

I’m moving 14 St John’s Wort bushes from one part of the yard to another, due to construction going on.

If a soil test confirms the need to add nutrients then it will be safe to do so. If there is already an acceptable nutrient content, then doing so may harm the plant.
