Should Rose of Sharon blooms be removed when they are brown & wilted or do they replenish themselves?

Rose of sharon is a type of hibiscus. Deadheading hibiscus is not necessary. This is true for tropical hibiscus flowers, for rose of Sharon and for other types of hibiscus family blooms. All of these plants are considered self-cleaning.
