Should My Orange Jasmine Be Trimmed?

it is in a planter and has grown to nearly 3 feet tall, healthy and keeps growing, but is not bushy. should it be trimmed or pruned so that it will grow to be fuller? thanks so much for providing this question system, and thank you in advance for answering.
