Q.Should I Water My Gingko Biloba In The Winter?
I was given a Ginko Biloba is in a 8-10″ pot. It’s supposed to be a Bonsai. But it is about 3′ tall and has been outside all summer. It’s leaves are turning yellow, and I understand they’ll drop. I plan on bringing it in the garage for the winter. Question: Should I water it or do anything special to keep it alive during the winter months -October – February?

It is hardy to zone 4 so you can leave it outside in a sheltered area (out of harsh winds) for the winter. Then it will get some moisture. If you feel better bringing it inside, only water it lightly about once a month so it doesn't get root rot.
