Should I Use Epsom Salts for My Sago Palm

I grew a Sago Palm from a pup and planted it in memory of my  husband at his golf club. It is about 3 feet tall and I think it needs fertilizer. My Home Depot has no palm tree fertilizer and says none can be stocked on their shelves now due to fertilizer getting into streams, etc. I have thrown Epsom Salts around my Pygmy Palms and they are doing well. Could I do the same with the Sago?  I live in Florida.

Is the palm trees leaves turning yellow, why are you using Epson Salts? We usually use Epson salts on Citrus trees where the leaves go yellow.

If possible, a tropical plant fertilizer is best. But, if you are unable to find this, a standard water soluble fertilizer like Miracle Gro will be fine.
