Q.Should I Stake My Bromeliad Flower?

Zone Norman, Oklahoma | Anonymous added on July 12, 2023 | Answered

I can see a baby plant (maybe two) starting. I’m afraid the bloom is going to snap. The plant is indoors. What to do?

If it is in danger of falling out of that container, you may want to stake it. Or if the flower stem may snap. Just be sure to avoid spearing the leaves while staking.
